Dr. Tina Anderson has worked in the field of special education for over 25 years as a teacher, behavior specialist, educational therapist, educational consultant and leadership coach. She is currently an assistant professor for the Department of Special Education at the University of Georgia and also President of Anderson & Ward Educational Services.
Dr. Anderson’s educational background includes a bachelor’s degree in intellectual disabilities from the University of Georgia, a master’s degree in learning disabilities and behavior disorders from Augusta State University, and a doctorate degree in early childhood special education and special education technology from the University of Georgia.
Dr. Anderson’s areas of interest and expertise include assessment, IEP development, specialized reading instruction, behavior analysis, and transition planning for students with disabilities. As a consultant, she helps educators address challenging problems in special education with practical solutions and proven methods.
