This workshop is designed especially for principals and special education directors working together to provide effective inclusive practices and high quality co-teaching. It addresses the continuum of inclusive supports and placements, along with how inclusion relates to the CCRPI.
We provide a framework for an effective co-taught class with video models of good co-taught classrooms, examples of co-taught lesson plans, and a walkthrough that administrators can use to support teachers.
Administrators receive information to support co-teaching structures that include scheduling, training guidelines, and strategies for organizing co-planning time. We also highlight the importance of coaching and provide guidance for implementation.
